Ci3 Seeks Youth Ages 15-24 for Mobile App Dev – PAID

Are you between the ages of 15-24 and interested in contraception, STI prevention and technology?

Ci3 is seeking young people to assist in the development of a mobile app to help youth make healthy decisions about contraception and STI prevention. Please contact Dr. Lucy Hebert at (773) 834-7196 or to confirm your spot.

  • What will I be doing? You will help to design a mobile app, by engaging in a series of group discussions focusing on pregnancy and STI prevention. We will lead every session, and all you have to do is come ready to participate. We even provide dinner!
  • What is the time commitment? You will participate in 8 sessions (dates TBA) over the next 2 years. Each session will last 1-2 hours.
  • Where will it take place? All sessions will be held at the Ci3 offices (1225 E. 60th St. on The University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park).
  • What do I get out of it? Over the course of 2 years, you will be compensated $300.

Youth Ages 14-18 Needed for PAID Research Study 12/9

Ci3/Game Changer Chicago are seeking youth ages 14-18 to participate in a paid research study on Tuesday, December 9 from 5:30-7 p.m. The study will take place at Ci3 (1225 E. 60th St., on The University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park).

Participants will play the Hexacago board game (pictured above) with peers and complete two short surveys. Time commitment is approximately 75 minutes, and each participant will be compensated $15. Feel free to bring a friend!

Tomorrow Night: Teen Research Study – Spaces Still Available!

The session will take approximately 75 minutes and will consist of playing the “Hexacago” board game and completing two short surveys. Participants will be compensated $15.

Women Ages 18-35 Wanted for Oral Contraceptive Research Study

Are you interested in a research study regarding an investigational estrogen-free birth control medication?

Subjects will receive compensation after each clinic visit.

Women ages 18-35 are eligible to participate in a research study of a new estrogen free oral contraceptive. Participants must be willing to return to clinic up to 2 times a week for approximately 6 and a half months, not currently be on a hormonal birth control, and not pregnant. Study participants will receive compensation after each clinic visit. The study is being conducted by Dr. Melissa Gilliam in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago.
